On May 1, 2008, CDA Architects celebrated the completion of their building, located at 1523 Huger Street in Columbia, SC. The event, which drew nearly 200 people, included refreshments, music and tours of the building.
Guests enjoyed locally-grown food and acoustic guitar performances. Planning for the event focused on recyclable, reusable and locally produced products, including invitations, name-tags, and refreshments. CDA Architects employees provided tours of their office and the adjacent offices of Business Carolina, Inc., a local financial institution. In addition to familiarizing guests to the new location, the tours presented the LEEDŽ Rating System, highlighting the sustainable design features of the site and facilities.
