On June 30, 2008 the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) released its first issue of the Advocacy and Policy Update. This e-newsletter, which will be published quarterly, purposes to inform its readers of new legislation and other news which relates to green building. The publication also includes interviews with advocates who are helping make the switch to green building possible.
In its first issue, the Advocacy and Policy Update chose to feature CDA’s Keith Sanders in the “Ask an Advocate” section. Keith, a project architect with CDA, is a LEED Accredited Professional and is a founding member and Past President of the USGBC South Carolina Chapter. In the interview, Keith discusses his passion for green building design and construction as well as his efforts, along with the USGBC South Carolina Chapter, to get state green building legislation passed in South Carolina.
