CDA Architects participates in Saving Green by Building Green Forum
11/12/08
On October 30, 2008 several local and state business and government leaders met for a forum to discuss the importance of sustainable development. The forum was hosted by Cox and Dinkins, a civil engineering firm in Columbia, SC. Cox and Dinkins is particularly qualified to host such a forum, as their own building recently attained LEED-Silver Certification; CDA Architects designed the building.

Ted Chalgren, business development director for Cox and Dinkins, emphasized that while there is a monetary cost to environmentalism, building green really does pay for itself–many times over–in the long run.

An article about the forum appeared in the November 5-11, 2008 edition of Columbia’s Free Times. To access the article, visit: www.free-times.com
