On February 9, 2009, CDA Architects received the Green Business Seal, acknowledging its designation as a “Green Business Member.” The presentation, led by Mary Pat Baldauf, City of Columbia Sustainability Facilitator, publicly recognized CDA’s membership, which became official in Fall, 2008. CDA’s participation in this program is in keeping with our commitment to sustainability. CDA currently is pursuing USGBC LEED certification for its new Columbia office building.
Sponsored by the City of Columbia’s Climate Protection Action Campaign (CPAC), the Green Business Membership Program encourages businesses to improve their environmental record while improving their bottom line. The program recognizes firms which operate in an environmentally friendly manner and which also encourage other businesses to adopt green business practices.
