CDA Architects designed this new 7,000 SF medical office building for an internal medicine practice to replace the Irmo branch of this group's three Columbia-area offices. This new facility will house the laboratory facilities used by all three offices, as well as the Association's administrative offices and bulk central records storage facility. The medical office portion of the facility offers a reception/waiting area, physicians' offices, laboratory facilities, and 16 examination rooms. The administrative portion of the facility will house the practice administrator, billing manager, collections office, and central billing department. The shake siding and split block exterior blend with the natural setting surrounding the building, which is also reflected within the facility by the interior design specified by CDA's Interior Design Division. CDA Interiors selected the finishes and furnishings, designed the furniture layout and oversaw installation of the furnishings.
